Collection: Taurai E. Mupaso
Taurai E. Mupaso, born on August 3, 1978, began sculpting in school under the guidance of Kennedy Phiri and Creto Simon. After a brief stint in industrial work, he returned to sculpting in 2000, joining the Chitungwiza Arts Centre. Known for his abstract and figurative creations, especially his signature owl pieces, Taurai earned recognition from the National Arts Council of Zimbabwe. A father of two, he balances his art with a love for snooker and football, continuing to shape his legacy in stone sculpture.
